This proud protector of truth, justice & the American way.....is gold plated, I believe, but possibly made of brass. Absolutely no corrosion, peeling or problems with the gold metal. Lots of fine relief & detail. A big, bold piece with the wingspan of 3 5/8" Definitely vintage, but MINT!
